'We received orders from the Golani Brigade commanders on October 7 to cancel all patrols along the Gaza border from 5:20 AM until 9:00 AM.' - Israeli soldier testifies to the Knesset committee.

This is a big deal.

The former Attorney General of Israel, Michael Benyair is now calling Israel's actions in Gaza genocide.

"To eternal shame. Jews, who suffered a genocide 80 years ago, are committing genocide in Gaza. Shame, rage, and sorrow." 👇

Amazing things are happening. The immense international pressure has led Israel to abandon its policy of using GHF death traps. It is now taking several steps:

* Airdrops of food.
* The creation of humanitarian corridors.
* A humanitarian pause of military operations tomorrow.…

“F*ck your aid!”

New and shocking:

10 children between the ages of 15 and 17 were released after the were abducted by the israeli forces near GHF site in Rafah last month.
They were subjected to horror and starvation for 30 days.

As a longtime humanitarian who has battled famines and hunger crises, I fear that starvation in Gaza has now passed the tipping point and we are going to see mass-scale starvation mortality.

A thread on famine momentum, famine response, and what it means for Gaza today.
