Our crises today are much bigger than any country can solve alone: the climate crisis, water issues, pollution, environmental degradation, wars, pandemic and more. Our planet is in great danger; we need global solutions that will protect the livelihoods and rights of all people as well as the health and wellness of our natural world.
Join the WESPAC Community on Tuesday, May 9th at 7pm for an interactive conversation with author Chandra Shekhara on the subject of his recently published book entitled “A Proposal for a World Constitution Based on the Works of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar”. Chandra Shekhara, also known as Craig Runde, has an undergraduate degree in comparative religion and a law degree.
“The future Sarkar described can seem, given the imperialism of today, far away. Runde has provided us a brilliant book where the future is closer, touchable. Moving between vision and systemic details (a bill of rights for nature, for example) we gain clarity about what is to be done today, We are thankful for the author’s legal scholarship.” – Sohail Inayatullah, UNESCO Chair in Futures Studies. IIUM. Professor, Tamkang University. Editor, the Journal of Futures Studies, and researcher,
