Amazing things are happening. The immense international pressure has led Israel to abandon its policy of using GHF death traps. It is now taking several steps:

* Airdrops of food.
* The creation of humanitarian corridors.
* A humanitarian pause of military operations tomorrow.…

“F*ck your aid!”

New and shocking:

10 children between the ages of 15 and 17 were released after the were abducted by the israeli forces near GHF site in Rafah last month.
They were subjected to horror and starvation for 30 days.

As a longtime humanitarian who has battled famines and hunger crises, I fear that starvation in Gaza has now passed the tipping point and we are going to see mass-scale starvation mortality.

A thread on famine momentum, famine response, and what it means for Gaza today.

Consistent with its historic commitment to a just and lasting peace in the Middle East, I have decided that France will recognize the State of Palestine.

I will make this solemn announcement before the United Nations General Assembly this coming September.…
