In order to honor all workers who have been killed on the job, Workers Memorial Day is observed every April 28, which is the anniversary of the enactment of OSHA in 1971. Sustainable Port Chester Alliance is holding a commemorative event this year at Summerfield Park, with speakers from the worlds of politics, labor unions, clergy, and healthcare.
