Westchester County Clean Energy Summit: “Implications of NYS Climate Law & Scalable Solutions”

We invite you to a policy and solutions summit on March 5th (8:00-11:30 am) that will look at the future of Westchester County’s energy landscape.

With the passage of the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA), New York’s landmark climate law, Westchester County can be a leader in establishing a clean energy future.  The Summit will be divided into two parts: policy and solutions.  The Clean Energy Summit will convene experts in two panel discussions across sectors to reveal the implications of the CLCPA for Westchester, including issues of environmental justice.  The Summit will also discuss the County’s current energy landscape, the challenges to achieving emissions reductions, and specific, scalable solutions and opportunities to transition to clean energy.
