On July 3rd, 2023, 37-year-old Jarrell Garris was shot by police in New Rochelle, NY, and died a week later in the hospital. He lost his life as a result of police violence, and on Thursday, July 27th, at 6:30 PM, you are welcomed to attend a peaceful vigil with community members in memory of Jarrell Garris and those like him who have been victims of police violence.
