WASS Zero Waste Task Force Virtual Meeting

Westchester Alliance for Sustainable Solutions (WASS) would like to cordially invite you to our next monthly WASS Zero Waste Task Force meeting via zoom on Wednesday, October 11th at 7:30pm. These meetings convene monthly to build a collective county-wide effort, with representation from various sustainability committees and community-based organizations across our region, to advance truly sustainable waste management practices and end toxic garbage incineration in Westchester County.
This month we’ll be talking about food scraps! Does your community have one? How does it work? Can it be expanded? Hear from residents throughout Westchester County and learn how they are advocating to expand food scraps recycling in their communities. Join us to learn how to take action to get food scraps out of the incinerator and into compost!
