We live in times of injustice and cruelty against the immigrant community. Two children have died, while they were being held in inhumane ICE Detention Centers. Children and families who, fleeing from poverty and violence, were looking for hope and a better future, have been condemned to rejection and abandonment.
In Westchester, several families suffer the pain of separation, their loved ones have been deported and others remain detained in Immigration jails for months. WE INVITE a moment of solidarity, reflection and hope with these families. We are going to raise our voices and stand in solidarity with their pain and fight for justice and dignity.
