“The Grass Isn’t Always Greener” Film Screening

October 12 @ 1:00 pm

Movie Screening October 12! Please email [email protected] to RSVP:

I am reaching out today to invite you to a short film screening in NYC! This film was produced by the Educational Video Center located in Manhattan, and it’s called “The Grass Isn’t Always Greener”. This is a grassroots film about the experience of the immigrant workers in America that are fighting for their basic rights and dignity while upholding our entire economy. I am happy to report that I contributed to this film by talking about the DALE campaign, the NDLON Justice Bus and the Justice Bus Tour we did last year, and more.
This short film has been selected for the 2024 Nou Aroma Nou Sinèrji Haitian Dominican Transnational Film Festival happening on Oct 9-Oct 12 in Brooklyn. You can find more info about the film by clicking on the blue words: The Grass Isn’t Always Greener: Migrants in the Workplace | EVC.
The Grass Isn’t Always Greener is scheduled to screen on Thursday, October 10th in their shorts program at 4:15pm and on Saturday October 12th at 1:00pm in St. Francis College 179 Livingston St, Brooklyn, NY 11201.
If you are available for either date please let me know, it would mean a lot to me to see you there. I need to provide a list of RSVPs by this Friday morning, so if you could please confirm for me if you can come by Thursday EOD I would highly appreciate it.
Thank you for reading my message, and I hope to see you there. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
