On Monday in Albany, the New York Assembly questioned state energy officials for the first time, under oath, about Gov. Cuomo’s nuclear bailout. The hearing only confirmed our worst suspicions– the Cuomo administration cut a terrible deal for New Yorkers.

In fact, these Cuomo administration officials actually admitted they had no idea how much profit Exelon Corporation was making off the New York rate hike on top of the $34 billion it already earns annually!

This is simply unacceptable. It is incredible that Gov. Cuomo and his administration didn’t strike a better deal for New Yorkers. It appears they either don’t know or don’t care that New York ratepayers are potentially being taken to the cleaners.

The Stop The Cuomo Tax campaign left Albany determined to shut the bailout down once and for all and we need your help.

JOIN US in New York City on May 17 at noon outside Governor Cuomo’s office at 633 Third Avenue (at 41st St) to tell him that we’ve had enough of his corporate welfare and shady dealings. We want him to stop the nuclear bailout and build a 100% renewable New York.
