“Sin País” (“Without Country”) film screening followed by a panel discussion

Join Amnesty International USA Mid-Hudson for our 8th Annual Human Rights Event on Tuesday, May 14, at 7:15pm at the Rosendale Theatre. 

We will be showing the short documentary “Sin País” (“Without Country”) followed by a panel discussion. Sharai Martinez, Luis Martinez’ daughter, will share her experience as a young person whose father was thrust into the deportation process. Expert panelists from local organizations including Nobody Leaves Mid-Hudson, Rural & Migrant Ministry, Ulster Immigrant Defense Network, and Worker Justice Center will share stories, issues, and actions community members can take.

There will be a silent auction to benefit local organizations serving as resources to our communities. Music will be performed by Tin Horn Uprising and Resisterhood Choir.
