New Economy Project recently teamed up with The Vance Center for International Justice to survey seven public banks on four continents, and we can’t wait to share our findings with you.
Although public banking is underutilized in the U.S., it is common throughout the world. Public banks are advancing workers’ rights, investing in a renewable future, and responding quickly and effectively to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Panelists will discuss key takeaways from the survey and highlight lessons for New York policymakers and activists.
