Peekskill NAACP Youth Engagement Kickoff Event

The Peekskill Branch NAACP is kicking off a Youth Engagement event (aka Membership drive) through our Youth Committee and we would like to invite the community as a whole to be a part of it! We are also looking for local youth that want to become active members.
This event will educate the community on the issues affecting our youth and how we can work together to move our agenda forward. The Youth Committee is run and lead by the youth. It is important that they be allowed to be in control of issues directly affecting them with the help of our community leaders.
The Peekskill NAACP Youth Committee will be having this kick off event Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 6:30 pm

Leadership in the hands of our youth will force this country in the right direction! Our goal is to get it well attended by youth. We will also need community members and organizations who are ready to sponsor ($10) youth memberships if possible! Please let me know if you are able to attend.
