New York Public Banking Summit

Please save the date for the upcoming New York State Public Banking Summit, taking place May 5-6, 2025 in Albany at the Capitol. RSVP today so we can count you in! 

This exciting two-day event will bring together organizers, advocates, and allies from across the state to explore how public banking can leverage public money toward affordable housing, green infrastructure, job creation, and reinvestment in historically redlined Black and Brown communities.

Limited scholarships are available to help cover travel and lodging costs, so we encourage you to RSVP early and indicate any financial needs.

May 5 – The summit kicks off in the afternoon at a location TBD, with an opening plenary, followed by interactive workshops and training sessions. We’ll end the day with dinner and time to connect socially.

May 6 – We’ll gather at the Capitol for a legislative breakfast, where we’ll be joined by elected officials and hear from speakers on the urgency of public banking. The day will continue with meetings with legislators and others as part of a coordinated day of action.
