Mid-Hudson Regional Sustainability

Topic:  Mid-Hudson Regional Sustainability Plan: What’s in The Plan and How Will it Affect Westchester?

Details:  In June 2013, Governor Cuomo announced $30 million in the first round of funding for the implementation of regional sustainability plans which have been developed under the governor’s $100 million Cleaner, Greener Communities program, a major statewide initiative to invest in smart growth planning and sustainability. What is “the Plan” for our region and how will Westchester be involved and affected? Thomas Madden, Commissioner of Community Development and Conservation for the Town of Greenburgh and Co-Chair of the Mid-Hudson Regional Planning Consortium will present on overview of our regional Sustainability Plan and discuss projected implementation through the region. Program free and open to all.
