6:30pm Introductions – 10 minutes

6:40pm  Amos Irwin, Program Director of the Law Enforcement Action Partnership, will discuss their Community Responders Initiative.    Community Responders are peer counselors/clinicians/social workers (for mental health/homelessness/substance abuse-related calls) and Credible Messengers — formerly incarcerated community members with street cred and mediation training (for disturbances/disputes/suspicious person/trespassing/juvenile disturbance calls not related to mental health issues).  

7:10pm  Michael Orth, Commissioner of Westchester County Department of Community Mental Health.  He will review the services provided by his department in Westchester County.

7:30pm   Sally W. Eaton, LCSW-R, Director, Crisis Prevention and Response Team, along with AJ Canonico, LMSW, Crisis Therapist.  They will discuss their program and will talk about how they work with police departments in Westchester County.

7:50pm  Phyllis Rodriguez will review plans for the annual Kenneth Chamberlain Sr. vigil.

8:00pm  Meeting will close.
