Mayor Armacost hosts Bereaved Palestinians and Israelis for Peace – Family Forum

September 16 @ 7:00 pm

Thank you, Mayor Armacost, for hosting this important event:

Mayor Nicola Armacost invites you to an intimate conversation with Israeli and Palestinian members of the Parents Circle – Families Forum. The Parents Circle is a joint Israeli-Palestinian organization made up of more than 750 bereaved families. Their common bond is that they have lost a close family member to the conflict. But instead of choosing revenge, they have chosen a path of reconciliation. Even since October 7th, 2023, its staff, members, and thousands of participants are still committed to peace and a way forward that centers around empathy and humanization. The PCFF focuses on the shared value of the sanctity of human life.

Join to hear their stories of loss and their unique choice of reconciliation. How do they engage across divides, and what might we learn from those who have paid the highest price?

  • Monday, September 16 at 7:00pm
  • James Harmon Community Center, Hastings-on-Hudson
