Join AIHM & UIDN on March 8

Dear Community Members, (Please spread this widely)

Amnesty International Mid-Hudson (AIMH) would like to invite you to our 11th Annual Human Rights Fundraiser Event with Filmmakers Pamela Yates and Paco de Onis showing their film “Borderland|The Line Within”, music with Bill and Livia Vanaver, an expert panel, and a silent auction at the Rosendale Theatre, 408 Main St, Rosendale, on Saturday, March 8th at 1:00 pm. Funds raised are for Ulster Immigrant Defense Network (UIDN).

The documentary “Borderland|The Line Within” powerfully raises awareness of issues related to US immigration and border policies through personal stories. The film will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.

“Borderland|The Line Within not only exposes the profitable business of immigration and its human cost, but weaves together the stories of immigrant heroines and heroes resisting and showing a way forward, intent on building a movement in the shadow of the border industrial complex, recognizing the human rights of all.”
