Join Susan Abulhawa, author of the novel Mornings in Jenin, and Librarians and Archivists with Palestine (LAP) for a talk and announcement of LAP’s new One Book, Many Communities campaign, in which people throughout the world will organize reading groups and discussions about Mornings in Jenin in January 2015. Writer and human rights activist Susan Abulhawa was born to Palestinian refugees of the 1967 war when Israel captured what remained of Palestine, including Jerusalem where her family had lived for centuries. Librarians and Archivists with Palestine is a network of self-defined librarians, archivists, and information workers in solidarity with the Palestinian struggle for self-determination.
