The Veterans Peace Contingent shall assemble at:
27th Street between Madison & Park (enter via Park)
Assembly time 1-1:30pm.

Wednesday November 11th – Veterans for Peace – NYC Kaufman/Pahios Chapter 034, Veterans Peace Council, VVAW, IVAW, MFSO, USLAW, Granny Peace Brigade, World Can’t Wait, Brooklyn for Peace, and affiliated peace & justice groups will be marching with us in the only Peace Contingent in the annual NYC parade up Fifth Avenue.
Assembly Location: East 27th Street between Madison & Park (enter from Park Avenue) at 1:30pm. We are likely to step off after 2pm.
The purpose of Veterans For Peace is to increase public awareness of the Costs of War, restrain our government from intervening in the internal affairs of other nations, End the arms race, Eliminate nuclear weapons, seek justice for Veterans and all victims of war, and to Abolish War as an instrument of national policy.
We are marching “to promote enduring peace, so that our efforts shall not have been in vain,” as President Eisenhower stated in his original Veterans Day Proclamation.
Organizational banners and Flags are welcome.
