Indian Point Safe Energy Coalition Potluck

October 5, 2014 @ 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm

After the march… now let’s get working!

All who want to a carbon-free, nuclear-free Hudson Valley are invited to attend the October meeting of the Indian Point Convergence, a monthly
gathering of individuals and organizations who are committed to educating the community about the dangers posed by Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant, and working toward its safe and rapid decommissioning.

Hosted by Stony Point Center (www.stonypointcenter.org) and coordinated by the Indian Point Safe Energy Coalition (closeindianpoint.wordpress.com), the Convergence starts at 1:30pm on the first Sunday of the month, and usually goes for 3 hours, including a break for fellowship. We invite you to bring a food or drink item to share for lunch, potluck style, though this is not required.

This month’s meeting will be focused:
* Debriefing from the PCM and where we go from here
* Debriefing from the Carbon-Free, Nuclear-Free Panel on 10/16 with Arnie Gundersen
* Indian Point listening project – meeting with candidates and listening to their position on Indian Point

Stony Point Center is located at 17 Cricketown Road in Stony Point, NY 10980. From the Palisades Parkway, take exit 15, and follow the signs to Stony Point. Drive 2 miles on Route 210 (also called RC 106 East) to the first traffic light. At the light, turn left onto Reservoir Drive. Take a gentle right at the first stop sign. Take your first left onto Cricketown Road; drive about 200 yards; entrance to Stony Point Center is on the left.

For more information or if you have questions, you can call IPSEC at 888-474-8848.

Hope to see you Sunday!
