You’re invited to join us for a special screening of “How to Sue the Klan: The Legacy of the Chattanooga Five” on Mon, June 17th, 6pm at Pace University.
How to Sue the Klan, inspired by a historic 1982 civil case involving Haub Law Professor Randolph McLaughlin and Adjunct Professor Betty Lewis. How to Sue the Klan is the story of how five Black women from Chattanooga used legal ingenuity to take on the Ku Klux Klan, fighting to hold them accountable for their crimes and bring justice to their community. Their victory set a legal precedent that continues to inspire the ongoing fight against organized hate.
