Tired of hearing of gun tragedies?

Come watch and participate in the transformative process 

of turning an unwanted gun into a gardening tool. 

 

“They shall beat their swords into plowshares 

and their spears into pruning hooks.”

Isaiah 2:4

 

Then save the date: on November 16, people with unwanted guns can safely surrender them at the Scarsdale Friends Meeting (133 Popham Road, Scarsdale), see them similarly dismantled (the parts later to be turned into garden tools), and receive life-affirming grocery gift cards as a thank you.

 

 

The August 3rd Blacksmithing Demonstration is a free event, but donations for the November 16 gift cards will 

be gratefully accepted. You may donate to Scarsdale Friends Meeting’s Zelle account, using the email treasurer@scarsdalefriendsmeeting.org and writing “Guns to Gardens” in the memo line.
