We have planned this event to coincide with the Westchester County annual emergency drill that will be happening inside the county center on the same day and time.

The focus of the drill will be on ANTRHAX.
But what about fracked gas pipelines and compressor stations in our county?

The Spectra AIM pipeline project is a public health and safety emergency!
Fracked gas infrastructure is a serious public health issue.
Pipelines and compressor stations emit many hazardous compounds into the air we breathe, adding to the already poor quality air here in Westchester County.

Please join us to tell the Westchester Dept. of Health that WE SAY NO to the Spectra AIM pipeline expansion.

If you can’t join us, please sign the pledge to Resist linked below and continue to call all elected officials to insist that they speak out publicly to demand an independent risk assessment of the siting of the pipeline alongside to Indian Point.

Help send a message to the Westchester Department of Health that Spectra Energy’s Algonquin Pipeline Expansion will put our county in an extremely hazardous situation.
We have a collection of bold signs that name both the hazardous chemicals released by pipelines and compressor stations along with their health impacts.
We also be distributing outreach cards for the Pledge of Resistance  (www.tinyurl.com/ResistAIM )
Help educate your community on the dangers of fracked gas infrastructure and put some pressure on our County Health Department to take a stand for our health.

JOIN US.
