Extinction Rebellion US National Open House

The ongoing extreme weather around the world and two upcoming international climate decision-making events–the Climate Ambition Summit on September 20 and COP28 in November/December–are coming together to create a moment of urgency this fall. A mass mobilization is needed to make the voice of the people heard, and XRUS must be part of that mobilization.

Our August Open House makes this moment of urgency our focus. We will provide information about a variety of actions in September (the main event being the March to End Fossil Fuels on September 17 in NYC), discuss how XR chapters can get involved, and explore how the September events can help chapters build and mobilize locally.
