On January 14th, join us in Albany to demand that New York divest from incarceration and invest in schools. RSVP here.
Everyday, tens of thousands of New Yorkers languish in jail pretrial, deprived of their freedom because of unjust bail and discovery laws. At the same time, children across the state attend schools that are underfunded and under resourced. While New York sinks $2.5 billion dollars annually into the human rights atrocity of our jail system, the state owes students $3.9 billion in unpaid aid for schools.

Join FREEnewyork & the Alliance for Quality Education on January 14th for a powerful day of creative direct actions, speak outs, and meetings with elected officials. This will be an all day trip to Albany. Free transportation & lunch provided from across the state. Buses will be leaving from Buffalo, Rochester, Long Island, and New York City!
