Black Lives Matter

Dear friends & neighbors,
In the winter we vigil once a month due to the cold weather.
We will meet next on MONDAY MARCH 3RD, 2025 at 5:30 – 6:00pm.
#BLACK LIVES MATTER – SAY. THE NAMES (now more than ever)
Afterwards we have invited Mike Khader over to our apartment at the Greystone for a brief MEET & GREET and petition signing for Yonkers Democrats only.
Mike has thrown his hat in the ring to run for Yonkers City Council President. The primary is in June.
Please come and listen to what he has to say about the times we live in, and why he feels he could make a difference.

In the meantime, we are watching in horror and disgust as DIVERSITY, EQUITY, & INCLUSION PROGRAMS are threatened and are being DISMANTLED.
We will not stand idly by, and we are looking for new ways to speak out and keep DEMOCRACY and the RULE OF LAW from being shredded by the Federal government.
