Amnesty International USA Mid-Hudson Letter Writing

Amnesty International USA Mid-Hudson is hosting our annual virtual
Zoom Global Write for Rights letter-writing event
on Zoom Sunday, December 13th from 2:00-3:30 pm. 

This year we will be writing letters on behalf of 7 human rights defenders. We’re urging ICE to release families from detention. We are demanding victim’s compensation for Chicago teen Teyonna who was shot. Two college students in Turkey are being prosecuted for celebrating LGBTQI+ rights. Jani from Colombia is being threatened for defending the Amazon.
