AVP Westchester needs more peacemakers!
AVP is looking tor people who would like to become conflict resolution facilitators to fill the growing need for the program.
- In 2018 we were invited to do the first workshops for the men at Garner Prison in Connecticut.
- In June 2019 we were invited to do the first workshop workshops for the women in the Westchester County Jail.
- In August 2019 we were invited to do the first workshop for the women in Taconic Prison in Bedford Hills, NY
- And we continue to do workshops at Sing Sing and Otisville Men’s Prisons and Bedford Hills Women’s Prison.
- And we are doing workshops for youth and adults in the community also.
The first step to get involved in this exciting program is to attend an AVP Basic Workshop.
The next Basic Workshop will be held at Purchase Quaker Meetinghouse on October 4-6, 2019.
