All Hands for Immigrant Justice Rally!

May 13 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

From Linda Flor Brito:

We are witnessing unprecedented attacks against our immigrant communities which are escalating by the day. The Trump administration’s cruelty knows no limits—handcuffing children in Sackets Harbor, disappearing New Yorkers to CECOT in El Salvador, and detaining both citizens and non-citizens without due process.

As these abuses of power continue on the federal level, our communities are asking: where are our New York elected leaders? We have delivered the legislative solutions and we need to protect immigrant New Yorkers immediately: the New York for All Act, which would broadly prohibit local and state agencies from colluding with ICE, and the Dignity not Detention Act, which would prevent local jails from contracting ICE to expand their detention capacity and ban private detention centers in New York State. It is now time for leadership to take a stand and we ask that you join us in this call. Let it be clear: silence and inaction is complicity.

On behalf of both the New York for All & Dignity not Detention coalitions: We invite you to join us for our Stop the Complicity: All Hands for Immigrant Justice Rally & March!

When: May 13, 2025 at 12:30 (Press Conference) & March Will Follow Promptly After Presser

Where: Capitol Building, Albany, NY — Million Dollar Staircase (Second Floor)

What: New Yorkers across the state, allies across movements, advocates, legislators, and more gather to send a clear message: STOP THE COMPLICITY! We demand our leadership act now to protect immigrant communities from Trump’s relentless attacks!

RSVP Here: Deadline to register is May 8, 2025!

We need all hands on deck to ensure our calls for action are not ignored! Bring your signs and let’s make some noise in solidarity with our immigrant communities.

If you have any questions please feel free to email Linda Flor Brito at [email protected] for the New York for All coalition or Rosa Cohen-Cruz at [email protected] for the Dignity Not Detention Coalition.
