I’m writing to invite you and your colleagues from the Westchester Environmental Coalition at WESPAC to attend the 2013 Conference on the Environment, being held October 3-5 in Buffalo, NY. Conference registration is only $95 through September 1st, and a discounted hotel room rate of $99 is available through our conference website (coe2013.org).
Each year, the New York State Association of Conservation Commissions (NYSACC) and New York State Association of Environmental Management Councils (NYSAEMC) organize the Conference on the Environment to provide educational, information sharing, and networking opportunities for representatives of the state’s leading environmental organizations. The 2013 conference, however, is much unlike any conference we’ve hosted in the last 40+ years. In partnership with the Erie County Department of Environment & Planning and the Niagara Region Integrated Community Planning Department in Ontario, Canada, we are bringing together an international team of experts to lead discussions and deliver presentations on timely and critical environmental topics that affect every community in New York State and beyond.
In addition, I would like to invite you to nominate a project or initiative recently completed by the Westchester Environmental Coalition at WESPAC for the 2013 Environmental Excellence Awards Program, which recognizes exceptional projects carried out by municipal, county, and regional governments and non-profit organizations that stand to have a significant and lasting positive impact on the natural environment.
Please visit our website (coe2013.org) for complete conference details and feel free to share this invitation with your colleagues and anyone else who may be interested. If you have any questions, you’re welcome to contact me at [email protected]. I look forward to seeing you at the conference this October!
Thanks,
Pete
