This event is scheduled for April 12-15, 2016. Films begin at 6:30 p.m. each night in the Lecture Hall on the Dobbs Ferry campus, 555 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522. Exclusive Film Festival parking is available at the Alcott School, 535 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry, with a free shuttle beginning at 6:00 p.m.
This year’s films will explore the theme of “Music & Power.” The selections are as follows:
Tuesday, 4/12: TIMBUKTU (Mauritania, 2015)
Wednesday, 4/13: MOZART’S SISTER (France, 2011)
Thursday, 4/14: BLANCANIEVES (Spain/Belgium/France, 2012)
Friday, 4/15: GABRIELLE (Canada, 2013)
As in years past, each film will be introduced by an expert guest speaker and will be followed by a period of discussion and light refreshments.
