Traveling Feminista, A Modern Muslim Woman Travels Through the World

Come hear Fawzia Afzal-Khan (author, educator, activist, musician) in conversation with Raza Ahmad Rumi, as she shares her recent experiences traveling in the north of Pakistan. She’ll share stunning images and footage from the region while reflecting on identity, culture, socio-political upheaval, and how it is possible to navigate the world embodying multiple truths.

Fawzia has been blogging about this topic for years. She’s recently published an e-book – Traveling Feminista, A Modern Muslin Woman Travels Through the World – and will bring a limited number of printed copies to sell and and sign.

This event is free to attend. We strongly recommend advance RSVPs for planning purposes. Thank you!
