November 19, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
One of our book club coordinators, Jodie Reaver, has scheduled the next book club session at WESPAC on Tuesday, November 19th at 7pm. We will be discussing Ibram X. Kendi’s book: How to be an Antiracist.
Phyllis Frank will also join us for the discussion: “Phyllis is also a long time community leader in Rockland County, well known for her exemplary, trailblazing work confronting all forms of oppression. Even as a child, she was introduced to the idea of social justice by her family. Her passion for justice has been evolving throughout her life.” She currently serves as the Senior Director at https://www.vcs-inc.org/ You can read the full article here: https://patch.com/new-york/newcity/bp–civil-rights-hall-of-fame-to-honor-phyllis-b-frank
