The Human Experiment

October 28, 2015 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Grassroots Environmental Education

invites you to free public film screening and discussion

The Human Experiment

Wednesday, October 28, 2015, 7-9 pm

Wainwright House, 260 Stuyvesant Avenue, Rye, NY

The Human Experiment lifts the veil on the shocking reality that thousands of untested chemicals are in our everyday products, our homes and inside of us. Simultaneously, the prevalence of many diseases continues to rise. From Oscar® winner Sean Penn and Emmy® winning journalists Dana Nachman and Don Hardy, The Human Experiment tells the personal stories of people who believe their lives have been affected by chemicals and takes viewers to the front lines as activists go head-to-head with the powerful and well-funded chemical industry. These activists bring to light a corrupt system that’s been

hidden from consumers…until now.

Patti Wood, Founder and Executive Director of Grassroots Environmental Education,

a science based environmental health nonprofit, will lead discussion following the film and provide practical solutions and resources for your home, school, and community and latest update on emergent issues. Ms. Wood is a visiting scholar at Adelphi University, co-producer of the documentary film,

“Our Children At Risk” and author of  “The ChildSafe School” and “Helping to Heal”.
