2nd Annual Bike to Beer Benefit

Join us on Saturday, September 26th!

On September 26, 2015, Eat Local NY will present the 2nd Annual Bike to Beer Benefit in collaboration with Captain Lawrence Brewing Company. The goal of this charity cycling event is to raise awareness and funds for the organization’s Local Food For All Project, which helps to make fresh, local and seasonally grown produce available to children and families in need by connecting them to family farmers throughout the State of New York. This project also aims to help build the knowledge of food pantry staff, clients and volunteers through educational opportunities, cooking demonstrations, farm visits and other resources.

There will be two distance options, a 25-mile course and a 55-mile course, both starting and finishing at Captain Lawrence Brewing Company in Elmsford, NY.

Endless Trail Bikeworx from Dobbs Ferry, NY has helped to design the courses and will sponsor the ride. The registration fee is $55.00, which will include the post-ride celebration that will feature unlimited 12 oz. pours of award-winning craft beer, bocce ball, cornhole and food available for purchase.
