JOIN US IN COMMEMORATION OF EARTH DAY!
Dr. Richard Seager, the Palisades Geophysical Institute/Lamont Research Professor at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University will speak on the science, the dangers and the challenges of climate change. Dr. Seager’s research interests include the causes of multiyear droughts around the world and how climate change will impact global hydroclimate. The entire church service on this day will be devoted to earth justice. You are invited to come to the service, which starts at 10:00 AM. After the sermon, Dr. Seager will give a brief introduction to his topic. The main presentation will take place in the chapel after coffee hour at 11:30. For those who wish to join us only for the main presentation, plan to arrive by 11:20. Please bring your friends. We want to have a good turnout!
