Stand Against Racism is a signature campaign of YWCA USA to build community among those who work for racial justice and to raise awareness about the negative impact of institutional and structural racism in our communities. Last year over 300,000 people participated in events around the country.
As you may know, the mission of the YWCA is to eliminate racism, empower women and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. In support of that mission, the YWCA White Plains & Central Westchester has, under the banner of our racial justice initiatives, focused on discrimination, injustice, and oppression through thoughtful examination of the issues that plague communities throughout our Nation. it is our hope that you will be able to support us as we take a Stand Against Racism.
Respectfully,
