People & Stories: the White Plains Public Library Oral History Project
Saturday, April 18, 10:30am – 12:00pm
People & Stories seeks to facilitate deep conversations between community members and preserve previously undocumented history in a sharable, engaging way. The project is open to people of all ages who have lived or worked in White Plains and functions by having community members interview each other. No previous experience with interviewing or historical research is required.
A training session for those interested in learning to be interviewers will be held on Saturday, April 18, 10:30am – 12:00pm, at the White Plains Public Library. If you are interested in participating, but unable to attend the training session, please contact the Librarian for White Plains History.
