Westchester Working With Immigrants Winter 2015 Assembly
Hosted by the New York Immigration Coalition
with generous support from Westchester Community College
Westchester Working With Immigrants Assemblies are an initiative of the New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC), which seeks to collectively harness our capacity, foster collaboration and increase our cultural competence as non-profit service providers and advocates working with and within the Westchester immigrant community. Our ultimate goal is to increase our ability to effectively impact change at the local, state, and national level.
This initiative has grown from NYIC’s ongoing conversations and convenings with local member organizations, partner groups and additional community stakeholders. The Fall 2014 Assembly brought together over 60 participants from across Westchester County to identify community and agency needs and discuss solutions. We look forward to building on this conversation, strengthening our networks, and planning next steps together at the Winter Assembly.
