Promoting a Public Bank for the State of New York

On behalf of the New York Public Banking Group; The Pennsylvania Project; Democratic Alliance, Orange County Peace and Justice; Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Rock Tavern;   Westchester People’s Action Coalition (WESPAC), I would like to invite you to a special symposium on Public Banking in 

 

 

to take place

 

 

A 45-minute presentation will be followed by Q&A from me, Mike Krauss,Chair, Pennsylvania Project; Board member of the Public Banking Institute, and Walt McCree, active in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, co-host and producer of “It’s Our Money, with Ellen Brown”, Board member of the Public Banking Institute. 

This is another step in getting support from upstate for the matching Public Bank Study bills Assembly Bill A01696 and Senate Bill S07416.  See also the attached bill and resolutions for citizens and public officials to support these bills and public banking in general.

 

We expect local public officials, community leaders and civic minded folks to attend.
