What Can We Learn from the Trees?
Wednesday April 9 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, Pace University in Pleasantville, NY
Join us for an evening of film, discussion and cedar flute music on the amazing power of trees, hosted by Evan Pritchard, author of “Native New Yorkers” and “Bird Medicine” and director of the Center for Algonquin Culture. Trees have spirit, according to many Indigenous traditions. The one-hour documentary “The Teachings of the Tree People” will be followed by a fascinating presentation that interweaves Western ecology of trees with traditional tree wisdom. Learn about trees in a way that you have never heard before!
