The Disasters of War
WESPAC and Concerned Families of Westchester invite you to a free educational forum called “The Disasters of War” on Tuesday, March 25th, in Hastings, starting at 7:30 pm. The forum will take place at the James Harmon Community Center located at 44 Main Street in Hastings.
Two speakers will present important information on Agent Orange and on the use of drones bythe United States.
Agent Orange – Susan Schnall is a member of Veterans for Peace and Vietnam Veterans Against the War. She will speak on Agent Orange in Vietnam, 1961-71, and its harmful effects on American troops, their children, the Vietnamese, and the land in south Vietnam. Susan was a nurse in the US Navy from 1967-69 and was court-martialed for her anti-war work. She has worked in NYC public hospitals for over 31 years.
The Drone Wars –
Nick Mottern, a Hastings resident, constructs large model drones that he and dozens of antiwar groups around the country use to educate people about what drones are and how they kill, and how they are also a danger to our liberties in the USA. Learn more from his website,
