Commemorating the Disaster at Fukushima

March 11 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

On Tuesday, March 11, at 1PM – There will be a gathering at the Gates of Indian Point at Broadway and Bleakly, Buchanan, NY.  We will speak, chant, sing, introduce ourselves to each other and present Origami Peace Cranes to the now closed Nuclear Plant.  We will leave at approximately 2 PM to go for refreshments.

FOR THOSE WHO CAN’T MAKE IT ON TUESDAY (or want to do both days):
On Saturday, March 15, at 1PM we will again gather at the Gates of Indian Point, to speak, chant, sing, and present origami peace cranes to the plant.  At approximately 2PM we will go for refreshments.

In previous years we have held the weekend ceremony on the Sunday of Daylight Saving Time.  On those occasions we have been led by Jun-san Yasuda with others from the Grafton Peace Pagoda on a Peace Walk from the Peekskill Waterfront to Indian Point.  This year Jun-san will not be here to do that.  Therefore we will do it on the Saturday (March 15th), and we will meet at the Plant rather than have a Peace Walk.

Please contact me via Text Message – 914 400 4336, Use first word FUKUSHIMA, and you can request any more information, or let me know of any requirements you may have.

Thank you.
PEACE AND LOVE,
