The U.S. YAC UNOD is a youth-led initiative focused on shaping decision-making and policy across the U.S. and island nations. Members engage in 8-month action projects in Policy, Education, and Movement Building, with the exciting chance to visit Washington, D.C., for a Hill Day to present their priorities directly to lawmakers.
The mission of the U.S. YAC UNOD is to bring together a diverse group of youth to contribute to and advance the UN Ocean Decade Vision 2030, aligning with the needs and priorities of their communities. The U.S. YAC UNOD is committed to fostering action, agency, inclusion, and skill-building, ensuring that members are well prepared to lead solutions that protect our human rights and shared future from the environmental and climate crises we are inheriting.
