Court Support for Uncle Harold

The Rockland Coalition to End the New Jim Crow has supported the Ramapough Lunape Nation for many years now as they have struggled to win religious freedom and sovereignty. Recently they have won a number of important victories, but this did not go without great sacrifice. In the struggles with the Mahwah Council and some vicious homeowners around the 14 acres at Hailifax Rd. some of the most courageous acts took place especially by Uncle Harold who is a member of the Mohawk tribe. He was falsely arrested and convicted and spent a number of years in prison even though he suffered from poor health. The Tribe is asking us toto support Uncle Harold at the hearing on his challenge to the restitution he was ordered to pay. We are encouraging anyone who wants to support to come out.
