Center for Community Alternatives Summer Organizing Institute

 

The Summer Organizing Institute is an opportunity for formerly incarcerated people and families with incarcerated loved ones to learn the ins-and-outs of grassroots organizing, legislative advocacy, and campaign strategy as we build a collective movement to end mass incarceration. Many leaders in Clean Slate participated in prior years, and we hope many more will as we continue to build power in the fight to end perpetual punishment. 

 

The Institute will begin Saturday, July 29th and then run weekly on Tuesday evenings from August 1st through September 12th. All sessions will take place on Zoom. The course is offered free of charge.
