From WASS:
Westchester Alliance for Sustainable Solutions (WASS) would like to cordially invite you to our fourth monthly WASS Zero Waste Task Force meeting via zoom on Wednesday, April 12th at 7:30pm. These meetings convene monthly to build a collective county-wide effort, with representation from various sustainability committees and community-based organizations across our region, to advance truly sustainable waste management practices and end dirty garbage incineration in Westchester County.
This month we will be highlighting the
recent passage of the Single-use Foodware Bill amendment by Westchester County and have invited our county legislators to brief us on the latest developments. Join us to hear more about this legislation, how it will be implemented and enforced, and to learn of any next steps we as advocates can be helpful with. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions at the end; feel free to submit any you may have ahead of time as well. We hope you will join us!
Please register in advance here if you haven’t already. Feel free to share our registration link with any friends or colleagues that may be interested!
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Vanessa Agudelo at
