The Bronx River Alliance, in partnership with Westchester County and the NYS Department of State, is updating the Bronx River Intermunicipal Watershed Management Plan to incorporate a Climate Resiliency Plan for the river and its communities.
We want to make sure that as many community voices as possible can contribute to updates to this plan! We will be hosting a Public Input Meeting at The Doles Center (250 South 6th Avenue, Mount Vernon, NY 10550) on Tuesday, April 11 from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm. This meeting will be an opportunity to submit your comments on Bronx River issues in your community, as well as potential solutions, to help shape a Climate Resiliency Plan for the Bronx River.
Please help us spread the word about this meeting, and if possible, join the Bronx River Alliance on April 11 at The Doles Center!
This meeting is open to all community members and stakeholders in the Bronx River watershed communities, though some of the information presented will be specific to the mid-watershed (southern Westchester). Spanish language translation will be provided at the meeting.
Attached are Flyer graphics in both English and Spanish – we would appreciate it if you could please share this with community members and stakeholders in your network.
