I am really grateful to Daniel for all his help in getting this website off the ground! Thank you, Daniel!
I intend to use this blog as a means of keeping in touch with the WESPAC family.
There has been a good amount of interest in organizing a mini-version of the US Social Forum https://www.ussf2007.org/en/about for our local area. The first planning meeting is Tuesday, June 10th, at 6pm at WESPAC – Pleasantville, to be followed by an action network meeting where folks can find out what WESPAC committees are up to, as well as discuss other WESPAC business.
On Wednesday, this week, Felice Gelman will be hosting a live local TV program on "Israel at 60", interviewing Yoram Gelman, Howard Horowitz and Rich Siegel. It is a live show and Felice will be taking questions from viewers at 7:30pm, so please tune in to Channel 75 in the New Castle area.
This Saturday, June 14th, is the Juneteenth Parade in the City of White Plains from 12 noon to 2pm, a day to celebrate the ending of slavery in this country and to renew our commitment to undo structural racism. Please let me know if you would like to be part of WESPAC’s contingent.
